Haptic Designer (Sound Designer)

We are looking for a Haptic Designer to create immersive experiences by designing and integrating sound frequencies translated into motion and vibrations, perfectly synchronized with multimedia content. Using specialized audiovisual production tools, this person will bring together creativity, technical expertise, and realism to deliver unique experiences while staying true to D-BOX’s distinctive signature and respecting the creative vision and artistic direction of filmmakers.

• Create haptic tracks tailored to the desired experience by editing sound frequencies from an existing library or developing new frequencies as needed;
• Identify, select, and integrate haptic effects, ensuring precise synchronization between the haptic code and multimedia content;
• Participate in the final mixing of haptic codes at the end of the design and creation process;
• Perform post-production tasks as needed, including creating, saving, and archiving projects in accordance with established workflows and digital workspace organization guidelines;
• Actively contribute to knowledge sharing within the team, including helping train new team members based on experience;
• Participate in various projects involving direct collaboration with clients;
• Collaborate with other departments on projects involving creative elements;
• Help develop and maintain D-BOX’s distinctive haptic signature;
• Comply with established cybersecurity requirements and protocols (TPN);
• Represent the department during internal and external visits, showcasing D-BOX’s expertise in haptic technology;
• Perform other related duties as required.

• DEC ou formation professionnelle en conception sonore d’un établissement reconnu, ou expérience pertinente en production audiovisuelle dans un rôle à forte composante créative;
• 1 à 3 ans d’expérience en post-production audio-visuelle;
• Expérience de travail avec Pro Tools;
• Capacité à travailler efficacement dans un contexte où les délais sont courts et le rythme soutenu;
• Aisance à travailler en équipe;
• Rigueur et souci du détail;
• Ouverture à recevoir et à intégrer la rétroaction constructive;
• Flexible au niveau des horaires (soir et fin de semaine à l’occasion);
• Excellente maîtrise du français, à l’oral comme à l’écrit;
• Bonne compréhension de l’anglais (contenus et une clientèle internationale)
