Sébastien Mailhot

Sébastien started his decorated career after earning a BAA in accounting from HEC Montréal more than 20 years ago. A CPA and CBV with a corporate finance background, he held multiple VP roles in technology companies such as Capimont and had prior CEO experience with Groupe Carreaux Céragrès before arriving at D-BOX in 2015 as the VP of Strategic Alliances. From there, the strong leader with a passion for technology moved his way up the ladder, becoming COO and eventually CEO in April of 2020

With more than 25 years of experience in information technology, Sébastien is an experienced executive who demonstrates the leadership and capabilities required to effectively grow tech organizations. Throughout his career, he has led a variety of tech related teams: software development, product management, IT, customer service, security, and cloud operations. He leads with passion, challenges the status quo and focuses on value delivery.


He is a graduate of the Université de Montreal’s École Polytechnique and holds both an engineering degree and a Master of Science. He also earned an executive MBA from the John Molson School of Business, and he is a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM).

With over twenty years of experience in corporate development, finance and operations, Joshua has a proven track record in transforming and optimizing financial performance across various industries. Prior to joining D-BOX, he held key executive positions at Cook it, Aimia, Gildan, and Fairstone Bank of Canada, where he demonstrated exceptional leadership and strategic vision. Josh holds an MBA from Ivey Business School and is a CFA charterholder, bringing a blend of financial expertise and innovative thinking to D-BOX

Sébastien is a seasoned human resources executive with more than 20 years of experience in the Media and Entertainment Industries. Known as a dynamic, innovative, operational and strategic business partner, he thrives in companies that have fast-growing and rapidly changing environments.

Sébastien brings with him a wealth of experience and a proven track record of success in both larger and smaller-scale corporations such as Astral Media, Bell Media and Stingray, which make him an ideal fit in his new role as Vice President of Human Resources at D-BOX.  Sébastien has a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Relations from the University of Montreal and holds the CHRP designation.

A highly motivated individual with over 20 years of experience in business development, partner management, sales and merchandising. She developed business markets for entertainment, gaming and eSports organizations, such as such as Nintendo of America, FOX Sports Interactive and GameTruck Licensing

D-BOX VP of Marketing Stéphane Vidal

Vice-President, Product and Brand

An experienced marketing executive and entrepreneur, Stéphane graduated from the Université Laval with a BA in finance in 1988 and began his career at Télébec, where he occupied different position in finance and product management. He would go on to hold multiple executive titles in large companies over the years, including Bell, Vantrix, MaisonBrison and XMedius, before joining D-BOX as the VP of Marketing and Communication in 2020. In his spare time, Stéphane sits on boards of directors and mentors others in the world of executive business to help them accomplish their professional goals


D-BOX’s Board of Directors has a fiduciary duty to act in good faith for the best interests of the corporation, including for the benefit of all stakeholders such as employees, shareholders, creditors, governments and the environment. They oversee and ensure that management complies with all applicable laws and ethical standards and they adopt policies and corporate procedures that are held to the highest standards of responsibility, excellence and ethics
