We are looking for a Production Engineering Specialist.

The Production Engineering Specialist will be responsible for developing and maintaining production test tools, as well as troubleshooting advanced technical issues. They will also be responsible for repairing and analyzing electronic components.

Your mission

  • Develop finished-product testing applications using LabVIEW;
  • Identify defective products from the production line and customer returns;
  • Coordinate product testing on internal and external production lines;
  • Lead the transfer of products developed by the engineering team into production;
  • Define testing specifications for new products;
  • Develop, integrate and commission test benches and electronic and mechanical fixtures for finished products, with support from the engineering team;
  • Analyze and repair defective electronic circuit boards from production and customer returns;
  • Implement testing procedures that meet all applicable requirements;
  • Participate in any other projects related to their area of expertise.

Your DNA

  • College diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Computer Engineering Technology, Computer Systems Technology, or a related field;
  • Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in a similar environment;
  • Good knowledge of LabVIEW programming or equivalent software;
  • Knowledge of basic digital and analog electronics principles, including troubleshooting, and the ability to solder printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs);
  • Basic knowledge of mechanical drafting using CAD software, particularly SolidWorks
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and manage multiple projects simultaneously;
  • Ability to understand written English and prepare professional communications in English in order to interact effectively with international suppliers.
